"Vessiegonsk Zemstvo local cover sent from some village to the peace court of the first sector of the district. Franked with 5k black on lilac paper (Schmidt #15, issued in 1883), cancelled by violet-blue handstamp ""ОПЛОЧЕНО"" (paid). Sky-blue oval date stamp of the Zemstvo post (07.11) with the year corrected by ink (1883 instead of 1878). Many items are recorded with the same correction."
