On September 21, 1930, the first catapult mail flight from the ship "Europa" to Southampton took place. Then by airmail to Cologne, cachet "mit luftpost befördert luftpostamt Koln-Flughafen" in translation "Airmail delivered to Cologne airport." The postmark of the place of receipt is missing. Extremely rare. The cover bears the autograph of Baron Joachim von Studnitz, the catapult mail pilot on board the liner "Bremen." Joachim von Studnitz made the first historic flight from the "Bremen" on July 22, 1929, to New York. The first catapult mail was sent from the "Bremen" to Germany (to Bremerhaven)
