On the back of the envelope is a purple stamp removed from a mailbox. The envelope was (resealed) after inspection and sealed with a red wax seal with a Russian Imperial Eagle and the text "Petrograd Military Censorship." The letter arrived in Zurzach on June 5, 1915.
