The sender was in the unit with the field post number: 03555 = 2.kl.Kw.Kol.Abtl.529 The small motor column was subordinate to the 5 Division at this time. According to the sender, the card was written on April 13, 1941, the day the unit arrived in Tripoli by ship. The sender also states as the place of departure: Africa, 04/13/41 Of particular interest is the converted post office postmark Feldpostkarte Front-Heimat mit aptierten Reichspoststempel und Datum 24.4.41 Der Absender war in der Einheit mit der Feldpostnr.: 03555 = 2.kl.Kw.Kol.Abtl.529 Die kleine Kraftwagen Kolonne war zu diesem Zeitpunkt der 5.le. Division unterstellt. Die Karte wurde laut Absenderangabe am 13.04.41 geschrieben, an dem Tag an dem die Einheit in Tripolis per Schiff ankam. Der Absender gibt auch als Abgangsort an: Afrika, den 13.04.41 Vom besonderen Interesse ist der aptierte Poststellen II Stempel der erst im Reich am 24.04.41 abgeschlagen wurde
