1929 (luly) cover to HARBIN (Aug 16 backstamp) with Cyrilic/English printed return of Commercial &Industrial Bank of Mongolia, franked on reverse with 1926-7 25m tied by JABHOLANTO MONGOLIA July 6 datestamp, with VLADIVOSTOK August 2 transit on front. An extraordinary routing as the Chinese Eastern Railway went directly to Harbin from Manchuli at the Mongolian border; Vladivostok was the eastern terminus of the C.E.R., some 300 miles beyond Harbin. Perhaps there were difficulties at the border
