From ex Dr. Peter Moeller collection that received the Large Gold Medal at the Hannover 2011 Exhibition.
Königsberg-Kaunas-Smolensk-Moscow vv.
From the opening on 1 May 1922 until the beginning of June 1922 only courier and official mail was permitted. From 4 June 1922, private airmail was also carried. In Moscow, it was marked with a wavy official box stamp: With airmail. From Königsberg onward carriage by overnight express train to Berlin.
Due to the great economic difficulties and the galloping inflation, until the end of 1923 stamps from the Tsarist used.

Von der Eröffnung am 1. Mai 1922 bis Anfang Juni 1922 war ab Moskau nur Kurier- und Behördenpost zugelassen. Ab 4. Juni 1922 wurde auch private Luftpost befördert. In Moskau erfolgte Kennzeichnung mit gewelltem. amtliche Kastenstempel: Mit Luftpost. Ab Königsberg Weiterbeförderung mit Nachtschnellzug nach Berlin
Aufgrund der großen wirtschaftlichen Schwierigkeiten und der galoppierenden Inflation wurden bis Ende 1923 vereinzelt wieder Marken aus dem Zarenreich verwendet.
