Historical Cover from World War II, German-occupied Baltic states (Reichskommissariat Ostland), issued around 1941–1943.
It features a red 12-Pfennig German Reich stamp with a portrait of Adolf Hitler, bearing the official black "OSTLAND" overprint used by the German civilian and military mail services in the territory.
It is hand--addressed in Latvian to the Riga Ceramics Factory (Rīgas keramikas fabrikai), which was the occupation-era name of the famous historical Kuznetsov Porcelain Factory.
