Germany / Weimar Republic (1919-1932)

On September 21, 1930, it was sent by catapult mail to Southampton, with a red postmark on the obverse "Mit Katapultflug," meaning "with catapult flight." And a postmark "1 Deutscher Katapultflug" (German catapult flight) D. "Europa" - Southampton. On September 21, 1930, the first catapult mail flight took place from the SS Europa to Southampton. Apparently, the letter was forwarded from Germany to the United States, but there are no transit stamps other than the Newark delivery address. The US address is written over the stamp indicating catapult delivery to Southampton.
